02/ Design Consulting
Reviews architectural plans throughout planning and construction and work with clients, architects and builders to support a clear and cohesive project vision.
Provides recommendations on materials, finishes, fixtures, detailing, constructability and cost, helping the Owner make informed decisions while respecting the architect’s design.
03/ Pre-Construction Planning + Project Management
Establishes a clear project scope through budget review, technical evaluation and early coordination before construction begins.
Assists in selecting architects, contractors and consultants, and provides value engineering to control costs, reduce change orders and maintain design integrity.
04/ Construction Oversight
Serves as the owner’s on-site representative, monitoring progress, workmanship, schedule, and general conformance with approved plans and specifications.
Identifies issues early, attends progress meetings, reviews contractor invoicing, and keeps the owner informed of project status, milestones and decisions requiring attention.
05/ Landscape Design + Coordination
Coordinates landscape design through trusted landscape professionals and reviews plans on behalf of the owner, providing recommendations on planting, materials, layout and the relationship between landscape and architecture.
Emphasis is placed on native and drought-tolerant planting, water-conscious design and landscapes appropriate to the site.
06/ Sustainability / Built Green / Passive Building Standards
Advises clients and project teams on high-performance and sustainable building strategies, including Built Green and Passive House / Phius standards, with a focus on energy efficiency, durable materials and healthy buildings.
07/ Project Closeout
Coordinates construction documentation, warranties and operations and maintenance information for a clear transition to the owner.
